Trilogy Ridgecrest in Peoria: Everything You Need to Know About Arizona's Newest 55+ Community

If you have been keeping an eye on 55+ communities in the Peoria area, there is one name you need to know right now: Trilogy Ridgecrest. Shea Homes officially launched sales on this boutique active adult community in Northpointe at Vistancia, and it is already generating serious interest from buyers who want the Trilogy lifestyle at a price point that still makes sense.

I have been following this community closely since its announcement. Here is the honest, complete picture.

What Is Trilogy Ridgecrest?

Ridgecrest is a gated 55+ community located within the larger Northpointe at Vistancia master plan in northwest Peoria. It carries the same Shea Homes Trilogy brand reputation as Trilogy at Vistancia just a few miles away, but with a smaller, more intimate footprint and a fresher price point.

The community sits in the Sonoran Desert foothills with mountain views, easy access to Loop 303, and proximity to the P83 entertainment district, top medical facilities, and some of the best dining the west valley offers.

Floor Plans and Pricing

Ridgecrest offers ten single-story floor plans ranging from 1,649 to 3,040 square feet. All homes are single-level, a significant draw for buyers who want to age in place without worrying about stairs. Prices start at $470,900, and quick move-in homes are available with builder incentives up to $65,000 depending on timing.

Floor plans range from two-bedroom paired villas to expansive three-bedroom homes with dens, casitas, and multi-generational configurations. Most plans feature open great rooms, chef-style kitchens, covered patios, and optional outdoor living upgrades that take full advantage of Arizona's year-round climate.

The Open Wellness and Social Club

The centerpiece of Ridgecrest will be the Open Wellness and Social Club, scheduled to open in 2027. This amenity center is designed around active adult living in the fullest sense: resort-style pool and spa, fitness center, pickleball courts, bocce ball, a demonstration kitchen, and a full-service restaurant and bar. Think of it as a private club that comes with your home.

Until the club opens, Ridgecrest residents have access to select amenities at the neighboring Vistancia Village Center, which means you are not waiting years with nothing to do.

How Ridgecrest Compares to Trilogy at Vistancia

This is the question I get most often. Vistancia is more established, more expansive, and has a fully built-out amenity center that is widely considered one of the best in Arizona. Ridgecrest is newer, slightly more affordable at entry level, and has the advantage of being early in build-out, which means more lot and plan choices now than in two years.

If you want a proven community with a full social calendar already in place, Vistancia may be your fit. If you want to get into a newer community at today's pricing while inventory is strong, Ridgecrest deserves a serious look.

Why Buying Now Matters

In active adult communities, the best lots and the most popular floor plans go first. Early buyers also tend to have more negotiating leverage with builders, particularly around incentives, lot premiums, and design center credits. Waiting until the community is nearly built out typically means fewer choices and less room to negotiate.

As a new construction specialist, I represent buyers at Ridgecrest and all Shea Homes communities at no additional cost to you. The builder pays my commission. What you get is someone in the room who knows builder contracts, knows where there is flexibility, and knows how to protect your interests throughout the entire process.
