If you have been keeping an eye on 55+ communities in the Peoria area, there is one name you need to know right now: Trilogy Ridgecrest. Shea Homes officially launched sales on this boutique active adult community in Northpointe at Vistancia, and it is already generating serious interest from buyers who want the Trilogy lifestyle at a price point that still makes sense.
Here is a clear, honest overview.
What Is Trilogy Ridgecrest?
Ridgecrest is a gated 55+ community located within the larger Northpointe at Vistancia master plan in northwest Peoria. It carries the same Shea Homes Trilogy brand reputation as Trilogy at Vistancia just a few miles away, but with a smaller, more intimate footprint and a fresher price point.
The community sits in the Sonoran Desert foothills with mountain views, easy access to Loop 303, and a reasonable drive to the P83 entertainment district, medical facilities, and West Valley dining.
Floor Plans and Pricing
Ridgecrest offers ten single-story floor plans ranging from 1,649 to 3,040 square feet. All homes are single-level, a significant draw for buyers who want to age in place without worrying about stairs. Pricing and builder incentives change often, so ask me for current numbers and quick move-in availability before you visit.
The plans span a range of sizes, from easy-living single-level homes to larger designs with room for guests, hobbies or a home office. Open-concept living and covered patios make the most of Arizona's year-round climate. I can walk you through the current plan lineup.
The Open Wellness + Social Club
The centerpiece of Ridgecrest will be its private resort-style club, the Open Wellness + Social Club. Construction is underway, with opening planned for 2027. Shea's plans include dining, a gym, a pool, pickleball and bocce, all designed around active adult living.
Until the club opens, Shea has offered residents a temporary gym membership nearby, and golfers can play the nearby Trilogy at Vistancia Golf Club, a daily-fee course. Ask me what interim perks are currently offered.
How Ridgecrest Compares to Trilogy at Vistancia
It is the natural question to ask. Vistancia is more established, more expansive, and has a fully built-out amenity center that is widely considered one of the best in Arizona. Ridgecrest is newer, slightly more affordable at entry level, and has the advantage of being early in build-out, which means more lot and plan choices now than in two years.
If you want a proven community with a full social calendar already in place, Vistancia may be your fit. If you want to get into a newer community at today's pricing while inventory is strong, Ridgecrest deserves a serious look.
Why Buying Now Matters
In active adult communities, the best lots and the most popular floor plans go first. Early buyers also tend to have more negotiating leverage with builders, particularly around incentives, lot premiums, and design center credits. Waiting until the community is nearly built out typically means fewer choices and less room to negotiate.
As a new construction specialist, I can represent you at Ridgecrest and any Shea Homes community, typically at no additional cost to you because the builder pays my commission. What you get is someone in the room who knows builder contracts, knows where there is flexibility, and knows how to protect your interests throughout the entire process.
